The Sweetness of Life - Station Eleven (2021) Ep5-6
You stare through the glass at the silent world. The transparent barrier forever sealed, and as you look out, death watches back, invisible, waiting.
David and Patrick are joined by @DarthdYT to follow Severn City through the end of the world and then meeting up with the Undersea.

Darth: I'm right there with Pat that I enjoyed five a lot more specifically because it's the portion of the collapse that so frequently gets skipped over. And the portion that--and maybe it's just I'm so OCD--I love seeing how things get organised and so I wanted to see how does the museum organise? How do they what? Who's in charge and how did they get to that point?
And so that's mostly even though a lot it did get skipped over. You know they talk about having plenty of food but we don't really see a lot of it, but it's the closest that I've gotten in a whole lot of these kind of shows. Where it normally skips to way post and you don't the collapse. So yeah, I absolutely loved it.
Six I also liked, but at the same time I was also very aggressively like "Kirsten, just kill the kids. It's--you can do this. You got it.
D.C. McNeill: Oh god, okay. We're gonna have a fun chat later about moral relativism. Jesus.
Darth: Right?
D.C. McNeill: That you land on kill the kids immediately is interesting.
Darth: I'm gonna quote David McNeill here, because you have said on stream "Normally I don't advocate killing kids, but I advocate killing this kid."
D.C. McNeill: Yes, because that fucking Mandalorian kid needs to go. He needs to go. Okay. He needs to be done with. I'm not having a bar of it. Get rid of him. In the bin. Just knock off--ZeroIndent, as a company, doesn't endorse child murder except under those specific circumstances.
Um, you know, that's not something that I thought I would be saying today. When I woke up this morningand I went to make myself a cup of coffee. I'll have a shower. Get ready for the podcast. I didn't anticipate having to say that, but you've put us here Darth. In the first ten minutes I have to say this company does not endorse killing kids except under two circumstances. One, they're incredibly annoying. And then two, if they're trying to kill you, I think that's like, acceptable to me. I think that's a fine thing to say.
So I'm going to move on before I say anything else that's particularly incriminating.
Patrick: Uhuh. If anything you're respecting the kids, you know, respecting them as people that can kill you.
D.C. McNeill: Pat, you know, that is such a good point. I'm teating them with the same respect that I would treat any adult. And isn't that, you know, a mature thing to do and a mature way to behave? I think so, probably.
